My Take: It is interesting to read that Step Mother & Son’s Spring Break Charlee Chase is the very first positive review of a parenting duo. The author does a good job of setting up the characters, identifying with their teenage frustrations and challenges, and providing helpful insights. Although this book was intended to be a “girl’s story” it did happen to be a “mommy’s story” as well. I also enjoyed the feedback given by readers. Most were very pleased with the positive aspects and the overall message that the book conveys.
My Favorite: This book is a great read with an entertaining storyline. The positive tone of the book and the positive message it conveys will make this a fun and enjoyable read for Step Mother & Son. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone looking for a positive book about family therapy.
