When we watch the television show “Growing up Gotti,” a new episode is released every week and the lead character, a young boy, finds himself in a situation that he is unable to stop. His mother is dating another man and his father works long hours at the factory making high-end radios for the company. The boy goes out with his friends to celebrate his birthday and ends up having a night out with his older sister, who seduces him. Things quickly take an unpleasant turn when the girl tells her mother that she has seen the boy in bed with her new boyfriend. The boy’s mom decides to punish her son by flogging him, to which the excited boy agrees, believing that his punishment fits the crime.
This story sounds like a joke. Yes, it is a spoof on the TV show” Barber’s Broke Barber.” But it is far from that. In the script the boy who is forced to be a “bad boy” because his mother’s boyfriend is in jail tries to seduce his father’s new lover. This turns out to be more than the boy bargained for when his father finds out about the “incident.”
The lesson the writers want to convey is that children, especially boys, need to know how to seduce someone they are interested in, whether it is their girlfriend or their mom. They need to know that it will take more than just talking to get their target’s attention. That being said, while” Barber’s Broke Barber” is a very funny movie, it is not realistic because the boy is punished for sleeping with his girl friend. If you want your son or daughter to be able to seduce someone they are really into, such as their girlfriend or mom, then you need to teach them what to do before, during, and after the seduction. Young boy seduces his mature mom.
