My Husband Didn’t Say He Was Engaging With Other Women This is one of the most hurtful of all my SO’s “not so subtle” hints that turned into “rape” last week. It made me weak, because this was my husband. If he had said to me, “Hey honey, I’m not just sleeping with other women, you know, other girls are a little too effeminate for me,” I would have been much stronger. Of course, he didn’t, and now my life is a living hell.
Not a Great Father Anymore Last week I heard from one of my friend’s that her stepfather had said to her mother, “I want my son to be like me, a good father, not a Stepmom.” She was devastated, and I promised myself not to discuss this with her stepfather. But I can’t tell you how this made me feel. I am ashamed that my stepmother felt she could push her daughter around like this, and I can’t imagine what her feelings are like in her marriage to her father.
Not a Nice Father Of course, not all fathers treat their daughters with the same disdain and contempt. In our society today it seems more acceptable to treat women badly than it does our own fathers, even when they are step fathers. That shouldn’t be the case, but it is. The advice for today is to simply not give it to you. You will always regret your actions in the long run. not son And not Stepmom
