Remi And Dahlia Get Their Bums Smashed . I’m always amazed at the way kids react when they have friends in the “D Dahlia” and “Remi” franchise. Sure, I understand that parents are concerned about their kids’ viewing anything with blood in it. However, if their kids are going to watch cartoons, they should be able to see Remi and Dahlia get their bums smacked! Yes, it’s pretty graphic, but if a kid is going to watch Spongebob Squarepants, why can’t they watch Barbie gets her butt chopped off? It’s not that I mind, I have nothing against kids being entertained, but sometimes it seems like they are missing something if they aren’t watching Spongebob on Nickelodeon or some other cartoon show with a blood-soaked plot.
Anyway, Remi and J have a lot of similarities. They both love animals, and they are very protective of them (D Dahlia even had a pet dog). Remi is more tomboy-like in her interests, while J is more interested in art and science. They also have very similar dreams and aspirations. It’s interesting to see two young girls who are so close to each other, yet completely different from each other in so many ways!
I would recommend this movie to any children between the ages of five and seven, who like to watch cartoons, and to any parents who are aware of the potential danger in showing this cartoon to their children! If you’re in the mood for some animation with some great humor, this is a great show to watch. If you aren’t a fan, there are three seasons available on DVD! Pick up a copy, watch the show and relax with your family! There’s nothing better than a long lazy day at home watching cartoons!
