Bratty Sis – step Brother Fucks step Sister Right Next To Mom! Bratty Sis: Princess of thepite is a hilarious alternate history story written by Ann LeCoupe, who wrote the novel As Absentee, and follows fourth grader Sam McClellan (nicknamed “Scratch”) and his battle with a cloned android. The book’s plot revolves around Sam’s boredom, which he tries to solve by taking a sabbatical from school, going off to sea with his father and his “sister”, and staying away from home for three months. But when Sam sneaks back in, he accidentally attracts an android named Bratty Sis – step sister to mom!
Bratty Sis immediately begins to steal from and threaten to take over the family’s supplies – such as food – until Sam steps in and realizes just how much she’d really grown since their last encounter. Armed with his newly-bought knowledge of her capabilities, Sam sets out to convince her parents that she should be allowed to stay at home and play with him instead. Along the way, Sam comes across a plethora of surprises including the fact that Bratty Sis isn’t entirely human – she has the ability to turn herself into almost any animal she wants and can even convince people to attack other humans because she’s so strong-willed. Plus, Bratty proves to be a remarkably fast learner, quickly picking up the mannerisms of more intelligent beings she comes in contact with… including a human named Dean Wormer, whom she promptly charms despite the fact that he’s clearly not human.
I enjoyed Bratty Sis – Princess of thepite, mostly because I’ve always loved Cokie Roberts, who wrote the original novel. But in my opinion, this book takes Roberts’s material and improves upon it, making for an enjoyable read. While I found some aspects of the plot to be trite and predictable, overall, I thought the book was a fun and fast-moving story about a young girl’s quest to find her own way. The characters were interesting, engaging, and memorable – especially Bratty Sis’ parents.
