“Like mother like a child” is how I describe my attitude toward step mothers. My wife’s step mother is a complete “brat” and acts like one too! I mean, to the best of my knowledge she does not care what I think about her, but to me she acts like a spoiled little brat every chance she gets. It is totally uncalled for and I will never understand how any woman could act that way with her own child in the first place.
My favorite scene from his step mom’s home movies is when the camera follows her into the bedroom. You see, there is this gorgeous young man trying to seduce her. The problem is that he is totally clueless as to how his actions are affecting her. There is this constant threat of violence between the two and she just flat out tells him to “back off”. How she treats him makes me wonder why on earth he would want to get close to her in the first place.
In summary, I have never met a woman who acted like an angry step mother better than my step mom. If that is something that you do, then you need some serious “rogramming” help. If you are like my wife and you do not have an affair, then I would strongly advise that you check yourself for emotional problems and work on them. Emotional cheating destroys families and does real damage to the ego, so take the time to seek professional help if you need it.
