SAM has a dark, sensuous side that she’s not quite sure she wants to live with, but she doesn’t have to because she ends up at the mercy of STEP’s boyfriend, STEP’s best friend, and his friend, PETE. What happens next will rock Sam’s already-dormant mind. It also will make her think about sex a whole lot more than normal.
The movie is appropriate for mature teenage girls who have grown a bit, especially since SAM is only in high school. The sexual content may be a little too adult for younger viewers, but it’s no big deal. The sexual tension between SAM and STEP is what propels the entire movie. Brennan’s name keeps popping up throughout the movie, so you may as well be familiar with her if you want this movie.
In short, it’s not the sex scene that turns Sam into a raging fanatic, but the other emotions that move her from being willing to kill for her stepsisters to wanting to kill for herself. If you like your romance suspense with strong characters, then this movie is for you. It’s one of the better movies about love and relationships that I’ve seen in a long time. The movie has excellent acting and direction.
