This story is so typical it’s amazing that it’s still coming up on my search results for “Stepsons Fucked Their New Stepmother.” My first encounter with this story was way back when my stepsons and I were going through a very rough patch of life. He was going through a divorce, she was going through one, we both had our grades suffering and I was just beginning to lose hope that we would ever see each other again.
It wasn’t until I found an internet article about a new stepmother did I really begin to realize what a story this was. The author was telling how she had two stepkids and now had to raise them alone. It just didn’t seem possible that she could handle the kids on her own. I decided to give her a call one day and talk to her about it. She was very nice and I asked her why she didn’t want to talk about it with us.
She told me that she couldn’t because it would mean that she would have to tell another kid that they were not included in the marriage and that would be bad. We were all pretty upset about it, but she told us that she realized that telling the truth might be the better thing to do and that she would be helping someone else who needed a new stepmom. We both agreed and now she has a new boyfriend. I can’t tell you what a difference this story has made for my stepfamily!
