Latina women and the Latina ladies in our families have a lot of needs, one of them is taking care of Latina women who are neglected or left out in the sun. A Latina lady is considered a Latina when she has light skin, straight black hair, and her shoulders are not full of flab. These Latina women need to be sun kissed, because their skin will become darker as they age.
My family did not have any black Latina women, and I decided one day that I was going to bring one into this family. I made posters about how beautiful and how feminine these Latina women were, so I began to go to the public library and the bookstore to find all the things that I could put on a poster to represent my vision for the Latina women in my family. I went to the library and they had several books that had to do with Latina ladies and what they did. It was depressing to see that most of the books were about how to attract men. I then decided that I would make my own posters about my dreams and my mission for the Latina women of my family.
The next thing that I made sure to do was that I took care of my neglected Latina women, so that they too could have their freedom to look for their own selves. That’s why I became a Latina lady myself. I went to the library and purchased many books about ladies in the Latin American community, including famous ladies like Fidel Castro, Aminu Armani, Michelle Obama, Hugo Chavez, Eva Peron, Michelle Obama, and several others. This gave me a voice and a role to serve the women in my family, which I have always wanted.
