A Good Step Mom is Hard to Find . It is a struggle every single day for single mothers who are raising their children on their own and are trying to provide a better life for themselves and their children by working, but a good step mother is hard to find. We have all seen the terrible single mothers at Walmart, the stripper at the club, the housewives who are over-worked trying to support their families. But it’s true; in our society, a good mother is hard to find.
A good mother doesn’t have to have fancy clothes, drive fancy cars, or have a huge wardrobe. A good step mother is there for her children and will support them in any way she can. She may not have much money but she’ll put her kids first and foremost and provide for them.
Some moms have the good fortune of being able to have both parents work outside the home. These moms have a good understanding of how single mothers should handle themselves. And, even though they never really had children of their own, their experiences as a parent and stepmother helped prepare them for their later years. And these women are the type of mother I want to be. I believe in being there for my children when they need me, even when I don’t want to be. Being a mother is hard, but if you understand what it’s all about, then it becomes easy.
