This doesn’t have to end up being a meal with the kids; it can be just a fun family chat over a cup of coffee or a nice book that can lead into more involved activities.
For another special project, consider making an activity book for your kids featuring one-time tasks that you can both do together. You may want to have each kid write down one time task on their own card and you can then compare the results afterward. This can lead to further bonding between you and your kids, which will help you create a memorable mommy special project.
